Key Insights

Inconsistency

Each platform has different functions within the TARTLE ecosystem but they also lack a cohesive brand look and feel.

Poor Onboarding

New members are confused as what to do first. They are missing steps in order to earn money.

Lack of Clarity

Addressing issues causing confusion and clarity within each platform. The platform wasn't mobile-first for members, despite sellers mainly using mobile phones to fill out data packets.

single source of truth

The TARTLE Design System provides easy-to-follow and practical building blocks needed to construct any TARTLE platform. It offers a base on how to use UI components, visual elements, content, and design language to create a better user experience and product. Design systems help speed up product development and ensure consistency at scale.

Atomic Design

Started out identifying common building blocks that are shared across the platform, and translated the base of the marketing site to create and improve the existing components.

Feedback and Revisions

As a designer, I worked with developers to improve the seller's experience and validate key issues. We tested and gathered feedback from users and used the TARTLE Design System to speed up product development and ensure consistency at scale.

Challenges & Conclusion

Maintain & scale

Once we had it all set up, future phases of the projects were able to grow with the high-fidelity screens. Global libraries really helped apply changes amongst any working files and keep them up-to-date.

Reengineering limitations

Often times the creative direction of new designs got refreshed, but we were limited to how much we could change on a page itself overall. A complete design change wasnโ€™t always feasible at a given phase.

Data Packets

Adding more questionnaire categories

With limited time, we focused on improving the components to the data packets and improve the auto sell function. We went from a single unique answers to 5 additional formats of questions to improve how we manage data and eliminate errors
